Who We Are

Conserve North County (CNC) is a Political Action Committee organized by environmental and social justice activists to support progressive candidates and initiatives throughout North San Diego County.

For the 2024 General Election, CNC will focus on supporting incumbent Encinitas Mayor Tony Kranz, incumbent City Council member Allison Blackwell (District 1), and first time candidate Destiny Preston (District 2).

These candidates for elected office, and those CNC will support in the future, generally stand up for policies furthering a clean and healthy environment, affordable housing for all, access to mass transit, enhanced multi-modal transportation infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction strategies, and anti-racism. All are endorsed by the San Diego County Democratic Party.
